Patients Name : T. S. Solanki , M-52, from Patel Nagar, Bareilly, work in Health Department as a Government Servant , was suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia, from many years.He has a terrible pain in his jaws. As it is usually mistaken to be a tooth ache or eye or nose complaints/disorders. So he was even operated, in 2011 by a dentist , But it was not a teeth problem. Later it was found out that he was suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia. He switched to Homeopathy this June 2013,and within a month , he got response.Now he is not suffering with any pain, and he is completely recovered with the disease.
ABOUT THE DISEASE
Trigeminal Neuralgia, also known as suicide disease , is a disorder in a trigeminal nerve. Trigeminal Nerve is 5th nerve , of 12 cranial nerves. Trigeminal nerve has three branches ,the opthalmic nerve (for eyes), the maxillary nerve (for nose), the mandibular nerve (for mouth). The electrical disturbance in the Trigeminal nerve leads to the problem, Trigeminal neuralgia, which leads to intense pain either in the complete face or in the lower jaws, or around the eyes,or on cheeks extending to upper jaws. The pain could be so intense,that it can even extent to sever headaches.Duration of pain: Pain lasts from seconds,to few minutes,to few hours etc.

- Australian author Colleen McCullough has TN and has undergone surgical treatment in Jan 2010.
- Entrepreneur and author Melissa Seymour was diagnosed with TN in 2009 and underwent microvascular decompression surgery in a well documented case covered by magazines and newspapers which helped to raise public awareness of the illness in Australia. Seymour was subsequently made a Patron of the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association of Australia.

- In August 2011, Indian actor Salman Khan disclosed that he has been suffering from trigeminal neuralgia for 7 years. He had surgery for the condition in September 2011.
- Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederate States of America during the American Civil War also had TN. His first recorded attack was in 1852, when he was 44 years old, and he suffered from this ailment for the remainder of his life.
